I thought I’d share some more of my lyrics to my songs. I love words. I love words fitting in a song. Suppose that’s why I enjoy writing. I get so inspired when I hear thoughtful phrasing and terrific imagery. It can be simple. It can be complicated. Just like good colors complimenting each other. I love when words fit in a different sort of way..
This is my interpretation of a girl who only feels comfortable in certain settings, certain lighting, and in a certain blue dress..
I’ve always loved the names Amelia and Jane..and so became this character’s name..I googled Amelia Jane and this book series came up. This Amelia Jane apparently misbehaves quite a bit. Pretend her dress is a shade of blue too. :)

When Amelia wears her little saphire dress
she courtseys to the mirror
she hears just what is nice to hear
Amelia dances and sings
to what she has kept unseen
in the beauty of the dress
she feels the beauty of herself
Oh Amelia smile
that you awoke today
Sweet Amelia
even pretty in shades of gray
Amelia will leave the house today
plans with friends to prose and play
Amelia Jane will be the story
delighted in all the glory
Amelia how your mood would change
in flush shades of Ruby
who do you admire in blue
just give the credit all to you
Oh Amelia smile
that you awoke today
Sweet Amelia
even pretty in shades of gray
Amelia so fair and true
let any hue feel like blue
